Farm produces worth Rs 11.6m destroyed in landslides in Panchthar

PHIDIM: Vegetable and spices worth around Rs 11.6 million have been destroyed in landslides that occurred throughout the monsoon this year in Phidim Municipality and Phalelung  Rural Municipality of Panchthar district.

The Landslides destroyed spices and vegetables farming including black cardamom, gingers, tea, tomato and chilli, informed Crop Conservation Officer Sagar Bista at the District Agricultural Development Office, Panchthar.

Phalelung and Phidim, the district headquarters are the main producers of vegetable and spices.
