The Armed Police Force (APF) has seized 774 electric vehicles brought into Nepal through the Korala border point in Mustang on suspicion of customs evasion.
According to APF spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Bhatt, the vehicles were taken under control last night from Jomsom in Mustang, Kusma in Parbat and Hemja in Kaski.
Security personnel from APF units stationed in Mustang, Myagdi, Parbat and Kaski were mobilized for the operation.
The APF also seized two additional vehicles from the Pasang Lhamu Highway in Nuwakot during the inspection drive.
