Fishery training for farmers

BUTWAL: The government has begun training farmers in fishery by setting up camps. More than 300 farmers in Chapiya have benefitted from 200 camps set up by the Fishery Development Centre, Rupandehi, which is known as one of the pioneering districts in fishery. Farmers say this is the first time the government has established camps and provided them training in fish farming. Training includes methods of controlling fish diseases, raising quality fish, increasing production and marketing management. Some 360 farmers in Chapiya are engaged in fish farming.
