Fishtail Air brings in chopper
Bhairahawa, March 21:
A helicopter brought by Fishtail Air from France was taken to Gautam Buddha Airport from Bhairahawa custom point on Tuesday.
The assembling of parts of the helicopter began from today, Bijay Chettri of Fishtail Air said.
Fishtail Air will resume its service after the helicopter is assembled and taken to Kathmandu next week, he added.
The engineer of Fishtail Air Chandra Pun said helicopter was brought by road for the first time in Nepal because of the high cost of bringing the chopper by air.
The AS 350 B helicopter manufactured by Eurocopter has a seating capacity of five persons including the pilot.
The helicopter, which was previously owned by French artist Allen Dellen, can fly upto an altitude of 16,000 feet.
