Flights to Mumbai, Bangalore to resume

KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is resuming its service from Kathmandu to Mumbai and Bangalore of India from September 1 with subsidised one-way fare of Rs 10,092 for Nepalis. The one-way cost for Mumbai and Bangalore for other nationals will be Rs 11,222 per passenger. As per NAC, it will operate three flights a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) in the Kathmandu-Mumbai sector. And the Kathmandu-Bangalore flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Two-way fare for Nepali passengers has been fixed at Rs 21,067 for Kathmandu-Mumbai and Rs 20,893 for Kathmandu-Bangalore route. NAC has been gradually resuming its service to old destinations and has a plan to fly to new destinations like Guangzhou in China after adding two Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet. It had resumed service in the Kathmandu-Delhi sector five months ago.
