FNCCI calls emergency meet
Kathmandu, August 19:
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) today held an emergency meeting inviting all past presidents and its executive members in a bid to discuss about the increased ‘insecurity and threats’ by Maoists.
According to one of the executive members of FNCCI, the meeting is going to discuss in detail about Maoist bombing at Jyoti Spinning Mills that has incurred losses worth millions of rupees and its implcation on the industry. The meeting is also working out an effective strategy to fight against Maoist torture on various industrial enterprises, said an FNCCI official on conditions of anonymity.
