FNCCI poll picks up momentum

Kathmandu, March 20:

A day after filing their nominations for the top post of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) — both the candidates Chandi Raj Dhakal and Kush Kumar Joshi, today unveiled their agenda.

Incumbent president Dhakal said the leadership role of private sector in socio-economic development would get priority for his team. He led stress on the need of creating conducive environment for overall development activities, for which his team would work jointly.

On the other hand, Joshi, current second-vice-president, emphasised on image-building as well as capacity building of private sector to compete in globalised economic system. He said that his team would ask the government and concerned stakeholders for remodelling of public-private partnership (PPP) approach.
