FNCCI’s sage counsel to non-Valley businessmen

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) president Kush Kumar Joshi on Friday urged

entrepreneurs to strengthen the district based subsidiaries.

“Our main focus should be on enhancing our capacity,” he said while speaking with entrepreneurs from Ramechhap and Terhathum districts.

Members of Ramechhap and Terhathum Associations of Industry and Commerce called on the FNCCI officials as a part of their education tour. Joshi urged the associations to strengthen their secretariats for

successful implementation of programmes. “You need to work hard for successful implementation of programmes,” he said.

Over the recent past, FNCCI has been

promoting and coordinating various programmes like ‘one village, one product’, skills training, rural energy and business fairs throughout the country.

The FNCCI vice-president duo of Krishna Prasad Tamrakar and Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar urged the associations to raise the issue of private sector.

“We need to protect our interests in the new constitution by building up pressure,” they said.

President of Ramechhap district chapter of FNCCI Pashupati Khadaka and his counterpart Sabha Poudel from Terhathum district assured that they would implement the lessons learned during their visit.
