Thaman Raj Adhikari (Kawasoti), Ishwor Prasad Chaudhary (Maitidevi), Tsering Phuntsok (Gaushala) and Buddha Ratna Shakya (Lalitpur) will participate in the Yahama R15 Championship at Chennai, India, on March 8.

Morang Auto Works (MAW) — Yamaha’s authorised distributor in Nepal — is sending them to take part in the event to promote safe biking culture and motor sports, said MAW officials.

Chennai India Yamaha Motor has been organising Yamaha YZF-R15 Championship — a racing event featuring the newly launched Super Sports YZF-R15 — for its customers. Loaded with true Yamaha racing DNA, the all-new YZF-R15 provides complete racing experience to the biking enthusiast, according to the company.

The winners were selected via a lucky draw from among existing R15 owners. Yamaha’s Super Sports YZF-R15 customers can experience the breathtaking acceleration on the racing circuit at the Irungattukottai Race Track in Chennai.
