KATHMANDU: Journo Bhim Prasad Gautam from Karobar national daily was elected as the new president of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON).

The election held here on Saturday has elected Saraswati Dhakal from Karobar national daily as vice-president. Similarly, Sujan Oli from Capital Nepal.com has been elected as general secretary while Krishna Rijal from Naya Patrika has been elected as secretary of SEJON for the next two years, whereas Himal Poudel from Image TV has been elected as treasurer unopposed.

Meanwhile, towards the members of the new executive team of SEJON, Sujan Dhungana from The Himalayan Times, Muna Kunwar from Naya Patrika daily, Kamala Aryal from Capital magazine, Binaya Banjara from Annapurna Post daily

and Hima BK from Arthik Abhiyan daily have been elected.
