Third Euromoney honor in four years reaffirms bank's leadership in financial innovation and service excellence

Global IME Bank Limited has been named the Best Bank in Nepal under the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the international banking sector.

The award acknowledges the bank's robust financial performance, superior service delivery, technological innovation, and commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, alongside its contributions in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Launched in 1992, the Euromoney Awards are regarded as a benchmark for excellence in global banking. Winners are selected by a panel of highly experienced financial industry professionals based on performance, innovation, and leadership.

This is the third time Global IME Bank has received the award, having previously been recognized in 2022 and 2024. In addition, the bank also secured Global Finance's Best Bank Award in both 2024 and 2025, as well as two category wins under last year's Euromoney Awards.

Global IME Bank has consistently earned both national and international accolades, reflecting its position as Nepal's leading financial institution. It is also the first private commercial bank to establish a presence in all 77 districts of Nepal.

The bank currently operates over 1,000 service touchpoints, including 352 branches, 384 ATMs, 155 branchless banking units, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices. It also facilitates remittance services from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and Gulf nations, contributing significantly to Nepal's remittance inflows.
