The gold price surged by Rs 4,200 per tola in the domestic market on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Fine gold, which was traded at Rs 283,800 per tola on Tuesday, rose to Rs 288,000 per tola on Wednesday.
Similarly, the silver price increased by Rs 95 per tola, climbing from Rs 4,380 on Tuesday to Rs 4,475 per tola today.
