The domestic bullion market witnessed a sharp decline on Sunday, with gold prices falling by Rs 8,200 per tola amid a continued downward trend in recent days.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 300,800 per tola, down from Rs 309,000 per tola on Friday. The price had recently reached as high as Rs 311,300 per tola before beginning its gradual decline in the domestic market.

Silver prices also fell significantly, dropping by Rs 335 per tola on Sunday. The white metal is now being traded at Rs 4,895 per tola, compared to Rs 5,230 per tola on Friday. Silver had previously reached Rs 5,405 per tola in recent days before entering a downward trajectory.
