The gold price, which had been steadily increasing in recent days, experienced a sudden drop of Rs 200 per tola on Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs 136,600 per tola, marking a decrease from its record high of Rs 136,800 per tola on Wednesday.
Similarly, Tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs 135,950 per tola, compared to Rs 136,150 per tola yesterday.
Meanwhile, silver, which had also been surging in recent days, has remained steady at Rs 1,700 per tola today, the same as yesterday.
