The price of gold surged by Rs 400 per tola, while silver witnessed a decline in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has reached Rs 126,800 per tola, marking an increase from Tuesday's rate of Rs 126,400 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs 126,200 per tola, up from Rs 125,800 per tola on Wednesday.

In contrast, the price of silver has experienced a drop of Rs 15 per tola, with the current rate in the Nepali market standing at Rs 1,490 per tola, down from yesterday's rate of Rs 1,505 per tola.
