KATHMANDU, APRIL 2

The gold price that had made the new record in the domestic market on Monday dropped by Rs 400 per tola, today.

The gold price had reached a new height of Rs 131,600 per tola on Monday. However, it could not maintain the strong momentum and fell back to Rs 131,200 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, the tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 130,550 per tola in comparison to Monday's rate of Rs 130,950 per tola.

Meanwhile, the silver price continued its upward trend on Tuesday as well, as it gained Rs 10 per tola to be traded at Rs 1,545 per tola, up from Rs 1,535 per tola on Monday.
