KATHMANDU, MAY 24

The price of gold in the domestic market dropped by Rs 1,800 per tola on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeSiGoDA), fine gold is now being traded at Rs 136,900 per tola, down from Rs 138,700 per tola on Thursday.

Gold prices had previously reached a record high of Rs 141,800 per tola on May 20. However, since then, the price has continued to decline, reaching today's lower value.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 136,250 per tola, compared to Rs 138,050 per tola the previous day.

Following the trend of gold, the price of silver also fell by Rs 10 per tola today. Silver is now priced at Rs 1,855 per tola, down from Rs 1,865 per tola on Thursday.
