KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 5

Gold prices experienced a sharp decline of Rs 2,400 per tola on Tuesday, following its remarkable surge on Monday, where it reached an unprecedented high of Rs 121,600 per tola.

Today, the yellow metal is being traded at Rs 119,200 in the domestic market, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, the standard gold is being traded at Rs 118,650 per tola, compared to Rs 121,000 per tola on Monday.

The price of silver also dropped by Rs 45 today, with it being traded at Rs 1,500 per tola.
