The price of gold in the domestic market increased by Rs 1,600 per tola on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 144,300 per tola today, up from Rs 142,700 per tola on Wednesday.

Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 143,600 per tola, compared to Rs 142,000 per tola on Wednesday.

Along with the increase in gold prices, the price of silver also rose by Rs 40 per tola today. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,825 per tola in the Nepali market on Wednesday, is now being traded at Rs 1,865 per tola.
