Gold price in the domestic market surged by Rs 4,200 per tola on Friday, continuing the recent upward trend. This follows a Rs 1,600 increase recorded on Thursday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold reached Rs 197,100 per tola today, up from Rs 192,900 per tola on Thursday.
Meanwhile, silver, which has been fluctuating in recent days, bounced back by Rs 15 per tola. After dropping to Rs 2,150 per tola on Thursday from Rs 2,165 per tola on Wednesday, it climbed back to Rs 2,165 per tola today.
