The price of gold surged by Rs 1,600 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday, continuing its upward trend from the previous day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold reached Rs 192,900 per tola today, up from Rs 191,300 per tola on Wednesday. On Wednesday alone, the price had increased by Rs 1,300 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver declined by Rs 15 per tola. It is being traded at Rs 2,150 per tola today, down from Rs 2,165 per tola on Wednesday.
