KATHMANDU, AUGUST 11
The price of fine gold in the domestic market jumped Rs 6,400 per tola on Tuesday, taking the price of the precious metal to Rs 307,900 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold was traded at Rs 307,900 per tola, up from Rs 301,500 on Monday.
The latest increase represents a 2.12 percent rise in the price of gold in a single day.
The price of silver also increased on Tuesday, rising Rs 110 per tola in the domestic market.
The federation said silver was being traded at Rs 4,780 per tola, compared with Rs 4,670 on Monday, marking a 2.36 percent increase.
