KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 21
The price of gold in the local market has risen by RS 600 per tola, hitting a new record high of RS 165,600 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the fine gold was traded at Rs 165,000 per tola on Sunday.
The price of silver has also reached an all-time high, increasing by Rs 20 per tola.
Silver, which was traded at Rs 2,075 per tola on Sunday, is now priced at Rs 2,095 per tola.
