KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 31
After days of decline following the Tihar festival, gold prices in the domestic market rebounded by Rs 2,700 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the market, which had opened at Rs 241,900 per tola on Kartik 9, had fallen to Rs 236,300 per tola by Kartik 12 and remained unchanged on Kartik 13.
On Friday, however, the price climbed to Rs 239,000 per tola, marking a notable rebound.
While gold had been under pressure since the post-festival market opening, silver prices have shown steady gains in recent days.
Silver rose by Rs 80 per tola on Friday, reaching Rs 3,060 per tola, up from Rs 2,980 per tola the previous day.
