The price of gold rebounded sharply in the domestic market on Thursday, rising by Rs 4,300 per tola in a single day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 304,700 per tola today, up from Rs 300,400 per tola on Wednesday.

The yellow metal had remained on a declining trend throughout the week before posting a strong recovery on Thursday.

Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 180 per tola in the domestic market. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,880 per tola on Wednesday, is being traded at Rs 5,060 per tola today, according to the Federation.
