KATHMANDU, MAY 30

The price of gold in the domestic market surged by Rs 2,300 per tola on Thursday.

Fine gold, which was priced at Rs 138,200 per tola on Wednesday, is now being traded at Rs 140,500 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, tejabi gold is priced at Rs 139,800 per tola today.

In contrast, the price of silver dropped by Rs 30 per tola on Thursday. Silver was recorded at Rs 1,930 per tola on Wednesday.
