KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 2

The gold price has increased by Rs 800 on Wednesday, reaching Rs 160,800 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, this is an increase from Rs 160,000 on Tuesday, marking a continuation of the fluctuating gold prices seen throughout the week.

On Sunday, fine gold was priced at Rs 160,600 per tola, which slightly dropped to Rs 160,500 on Monday, before hitting Rs 160,000 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also saw a modest rise. On Wednesday, silver was priced at Rs 1,935 per tola, up from Rs 1,925 on Tuesday, reflecting a Rs 10 increase.
