The price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,400 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday. This decline follows the increase of Rs 1,100 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 145,000 per tola today, a significant drop from Rs 147,400 per tola on Wednesday. The gold price had reached a record high in the Nepali market on July 17 when it hit Rs 149,800 per tola. Since then, it has been declining with occasional rebounds.

Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 144,300 per tola today, compared to Rs 146,300 per tola yesterday.

Meanwhile, the silver price has also followed the trend of the gold price, declining by Rs 55 per tola today in the Nepali market. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,750 per tola, down from Rs 1,805 per tola on Wednesday.
