The price of gold has dropped significantly by Rs 2,700 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.
With this notable decrease, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 142,000 per tola, down from Rs 144,700 per tola on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 141,300 per tola, in contrast to Rs 144,000 per tola on Friday.
Following the trend of the gold market, the price of silver also dropped on Sunday. Today, silver is being traded at Rs 1,815 per tola, which is a Rs 50 per tola decrease from Friday's rate of Rs 1,865 per tola.
