The price of gold surged by Rs 1,400 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday, reversing a recent trend of consistent decline.

After hitting an all-time high of Rs 171,300 per tola on Falgun 13, gold prices gradually dropped before stabilizing at Rs 168,100 per tola over the past three days, since Friday. However, on Tuesday, the price broke free from this plateau and began to rise once again

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of fine gold is currently trading at Rs 169,500 per tola, up from Rs 168,100 per tola on Monday.

In a similar trend, silver prices also saw an increase, rising by Rs 25 per tola today. The silver price, which stood at Rs 1,915 per tola on Monday, climbed to Rs 1,940 per tola on Tuesday.
