KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 1

Gold prices saw an increase of Rs 500 per tola on Thursday, continuing its upward trend in the domestic market observed since Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FeNeGoSiDA), the current trading rate for the yellow metal stands at Rs 119,200 per tola, an uptick from Wednesday's rate of Rs 118,700 per tola.

Gold has been steadily gaining momentum this week, with trading prices recorded at Rs 118,000 per tola on Sunday, Rs 118,300 per tola on Monday, and Rs 118,600 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 118,650 per tola today, compared to Rs 118,150 per tola on Wednesday.

In contrast, silver witnessed a decline today, losing Rs 10 per tola, with current trading prices at Rs 1,410 per tola compared to Rs 1,420 per tola on Wednesday.
