KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NT) has started GSM mobile service for the first time in Taman of Baglung district.

Issuing a press statement, NT officials said that the company started delivering GSM service in Taman by installing base transceiver station (BTS) recently as the region had been deprived of telecommunication services.

According to NT, the GSM service will cater to more than 600 households in the Taman region.
