HAN urges politics-free workplace

Kathmandu, August 26:

Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) organised an interaction on ‘politics-free workplace on Monday.

The interaction aimed at maintaining peace at the work place, smooth management, sound investment opportunities, job creation, poverty elevation and a stable government, according to the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN).

Yogendra Shakya, the past president of HAN said, “Outside provocations like politics used to arm twist management will harm government to achieve a stable economy.”

Stable government is a must to achieve stable economy, he said.

The hoteliers highlighted a need for an alliance within the business and professional community, associations and organisation like Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Confedeartion of Nepalese Industies (CNI), Hotel Association of Nepal and others for a united voice.

Similarly they also decided to form a core subcommittee and take the issue to the CA and to work closely with the constitution drafting committee.

Constituent Assembly members like Radheshyam Adhikari, Sapana Malla Pradhan, Ohm Prakash Sharma and Rajendra Khetan were the participants in the interaction.
