Manoj Bahadur Shrestha, chairman of Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL), recently held a meeting with Zakir Mohammed, chairman of Habib Bank Ltd, Pakistan, in Karachi. Habib Bank is owned by Pakistan government and is a joint venture partner of HBL. Strategies to be adopted for promotion of core consumer and internet banking were discussed in the meeting. Himalaya SJB Rana, senior advisor to HBL, and director Bijaya Bahadur Shrestha, along with Habib Bank’s officials, were also present in the meeting.
