KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) organised a foundation laying ceremony at the bank's property located at Khichapokhari, KMC-22, New Road, Kathmandu on Friday.
During the ceremony, a special puja of foundation laying was offered by Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha, chairman, HBL in the presence of directors, chief executive officer, executives and other staffs of the bank, as per a press release.
The chairman expressed his happiness as the bank has been able to extend its services and facilities from the Bank's own properties located at main cities of the country like Itahari, Birgunj and Bhairahawa. He added that the building at the Durbarmarg is at the final stage and shall commence its service from there at the earliest. Additionally, he shared the plan of the bank to look for properties at Bharatpur and Nepalgunj as well in the near future. Similarly, HBL CEO Ashoke SJB Rana shared that the bank aims to serve its customers with diversified banking services and facilities.
