Assistance delivered at Shree's Animal Rescue under CSR programme

KATHMANDU, MAY 14

Aloft Kathmandu Thamel has provided nutritional and medical support to more than 500 rescued and street dogs through a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The programme was conducted at Shree's Animal Rescue, where the hotel team distributed freshly prepared meals and essential medical supplies.

According to the hotel, the support included rice and meat-based meals, first-aid materials, and additional supplies such as bedding to improve animal care conditions.

The initiative is part of Marriott International's "Serve 360" sustainability platform, which focuses on community welfare and responsible operations.

General Manager Vikram Singh said the programme reflects the hotel's commitment to community engagement and responsible hospitality.

Shree's Animal Rescue works on the rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of stray and abandoned animals, addressing the growing need for animal welfare services in urban areas.
