Rupandehi property becomes the third Hyatt-branded hotel in Nepal, targeting business and leisure travelers
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 28
Hyatt Place Butwal has officially opened its doors in Rupandehi, marking the expansion of the Hyatt brand in Nepal with its third property in the country after Kathmandu and Pokhara.
The hotel features 109 rooms across several categories, including king, twin, forest-view, hill-view and suite options. Its largest offering, a 1,560 sq. ft. Presidential Suite, targets high-end travelers. The property also includes a Grand Ballroom that can host up to 150 guests, positioning it as a potential venue for conferences, weddings, and corporate events in the Western Nepal region.
According to the hotel's management, Hyatt Place Butwal aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers with amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, kids' play area, and 24/7 food and beverage services.
"We are committed to exceeding our guests' expectations and delivering an exceptional hospitality experience," said Tushar Nagar, General Manager of Hyatt Place Butwal. He emphasized that the hotel's thoughtfully designed rooms, diverse dining options, and expansive event venues make it a strong choice for travelers visiting the region. Director of Sales Partha Banerjee will oversee the property's market outreach and engagement with business travelers and planners.
The opening comes as international hotel chains continue to expand into emerging Nepali cities, encouraged by improving road connectivity, regional airports, and tourism diversification efforts. Hyatt's presence in Nepal now spans luxury, lifestyle, and essential hospitality brands.
