Hyundai sells 2000th car

Avco International Pvt Ltd, the sole distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal today organised a programme to commemorate the sale of 2000th Hyundai car in the country.

Avco International, a subsidiary of SOI Group has been marketing Hyundai vehicles in Nepal for the last four years since 1999.

“A wide range of Hyundai vehicles equipped with a world class technology suiting road conditions in Nepal is the basic reason behind this success,

despite bleak political and economic scenario that prevailed in the country,” said Captain R P Pradhan, executive chairman of SOI Group.

W S Min, executive director — marketing sales, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said that Nepal has emerged as one of the largest importers of Hyundai vehicles in the SAARC region. “Besides providing cars with globally proven products and extensive service network, HMIL is committed to increase after sales service in Nepal,” he said.

On the occasion, Captain Pradhan and Min jointly handed over keys to Deep Lama, owner of the 2000th Hyundai car. Lama also received a Yingang motorbike YG 150-8 worth Rs 143,500 as a gift for being the lucky 2000th customer.
