Kathmandu, March 13

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide mutual recognition to members of these professional bodies.

As per the statement issued by ICAN, both sides have agreed to work together constructively and cooperatively on ‘Professional Programme and Examinations’ and ‘Practical Experience’.

CA ANZ President Jane Stanton, CEO Rick Ellis and Prakash J Thapa, president of ICAN, and council members of ICAN signed the MoU in Australia a few days back. The MoU was exchanged in Sydney in the presence of Honorary Consul Deepak Khadka, Consulate General of Nepal-NSW Australia.
