Kathmandu, January 21

Indian Institute of Digital Education (IIDE) - Asia's leading digital marketing institute - has officially launched a new international learning centre in Nepal. The institute is set to provide its courses and certifications to interested students, alongside creating talents for the rising digital marketing needs of companies and start-ups here.

IIDE provides students with training in a hybrid format, providing professors, e-content learning management systems, final assessments, and certification in an online format coupled with offline interactions with industry experts and dedicated placement assistance at its Nepal campus. The institute offers a wide range of courses, including an 11-month post-graduate programme in digital marketing, a four-month advanced digital marketing certification course, and a one-week subject-driven certification course.

Speaking at a press meet held here today, Karan Shah, founder of IIDE, stressed the importance of digital marketing in the overgrowing presence of digitisation in today's world and expressed his belief that it will not only assist in accelerating local businesses but also generate a steady income for the youths.

He also emphasised that IIDE provides a structured protocol for effective learning, a community for students, assistance in job placements as well as managerial and self-development training, which sets the institute apart from other institutions that are also providing similar courses.

"Anyone above the age of 16 who has a smartphone and is interested in digital marketing and related studies can enrol in any one of our courses without any restrictions. As the number of Nepalis having access to smartphones and affordable internet plans has doubled in the past five years, we believe that all students should have easy access to learn about digital marketing as Nepal's economy is set to witness a digital transformation leading to a high requirement for digitally skilled talents," he shared.

Similarly, Rishi Agarwal, head of student experience at IIDE Nepal, said, "I am delighted to bring IIDE to Nepal. With the increasing demand for digital marketing, IIDE is sure to be a valuable asset for our country."

"By partnering with IIDE, we are certain to provide the highest quality of digital marketing education to empower our learners to achieve their career goals," Anchita Bhimsaria, head of learning and development for IIDE Nepal, shared.
