DCBL’s ATM

KATHMANDU: Development Credit Bank Ltd on Sunday started its ATM service at Kamaladi. According to a press statement, till date the bank has total paid up capital of Rs 1.1 billion and is planning to distribute 2:1 rights shares. With the permission of Nepal Rastra Bank, the 8th AGM of the bank has decided to rename the bank ‘DCBL Bank Ltd’ from March 15. — HNS

TAAN gesture

KATHMANDU: Coinciding with 99th International Women’s Day, Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) on Saturday presented a cheque for Rs 2,00,000 to the members of the First Inclusive Women Sagarmatha Expedition 2065 BS. Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Hisila Yami handed over the cheque amid a function organised to celebrate International Women’s Day. The young women mountaineers will go Langtang to identify a possible location to set up a school. They will explore Rolwaling Valley, Khumbu region, Annapurna and Kanchanjunga too. — HNS
