India trains Nepali officers
Kathmandu, May 16:
Local Development Officers (LDOs) and Finance Officers (FOs) took part in a specialised training in India, states a press release issued here by the Indian Embassy.
A group of 10 finance officers completed their training in India during April 9-20, while another group of 10 LDOs attended specialised trainings - apart from IIP, New Delhi - at the National Institute of Financial Management in Faridabad, National Institute of Rural Development in Hyderabad, National Industrial Security Academy, Hyderabad and various administration and finance training academies.
“The objective of the training was to apprise the Nepali officers of the Indian experience in public, private partnership for development programmes,” states the release. “Apart from that the officers of both the countries also shared their experiences.”
