KATHMANDU: Rajeev Kher, joint secretary at the ministry of commerce, government of India, met with Hridayesh Tripathi, minister for industry, commerce and supplies, Bharat Bahadur Thapa industry secretary and agriculture secretary separately at their offices, according to a source at the ministry.

He also met informally with joint secretary Naindra Prasad Upadhaya at the ministry of industry, commerce and supplies and discussed about trade and economic issues between the two countries. During the meeting, issues surrounding Nepal-India Trade Treaty were also discussed. Kher is scheduled to meet senior government officials and also attend at an interaction programme on Nepal-India Trade Treaty renewal being organised by FNCCI on

Friday.
