Jawalakhel Distillery Pvt. Ltd. has launched "Ruslan – Refreshing Alcoholic Beverage," marking its entry into Nepal's ready-to-drink (RTD) alcoholic beverage segment.

The company said the first variant, Peach Ice Tea, contains 5 per cent alcohol by volume (ABV) and is being introduced as a convenient, single-serve option. The product is currently available in select outlets across Kathmandu in 275ml cans, priced at Rs 225 per can.

According to the company, the launch represents its move into the growing RTD market, a segment typically characterised by lower alcohol content beverages designed for casual consumption. Ruslan's Peach Ice Tea variant builds on a familiar soft drink flavour while introducing an alcoholic twist.

Jawalakhel Distillery, one of Nepal's established liquor producers, said the product is aimed at expanding consumer choice in the evolving alco-beverage space.
