KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 18

Maya Khola Hydropower Limited has signed a Right Share Issue Management Agreement with Citizens Capital Limited for the issuance of 10 million right shares.

The agreement was formalised at a programme held in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, and signed by Dinesh Prasad Shrestha, Executive Chairman of Maya Khola Hydropower, and Sabir Bade Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Capital Limited.

Under the agreement, Citizens Capital, a subsidiary of Citizens Bank International Limited, will act as the issue manager, overseeing regulatory procedures including approval from the Securities Board of Nepal and post-approval issue management.

Established in 2067 B.S. and converted into a public limited company in 2073 B.S., Maya Khola Hydropower developed a hydropower project in Sankhuwasabha District and has been generating electricity since 2080 B.S., supplying power to the Nepal Electricity Authority. The company previously issued its initial public offering in Magh 2079 B.S.
