Kathmandu, September 24 Diageo PLC, along with its official distributor, Global Trading Concern Pvt Ltd, is launching 210 limited edition one litre bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label on Friday. In a first for a global and iconic brand such as Johnnie Walker, Diageo has customised the design especially for Nepal and the Nepali consumer, as per a press release issued today. The design of the limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label has been inspired by Mount Everest, the most recognisable symbol of Nepal. Just like Mount Everest, which reflects the pinnacle of human achievement and endurance, Johnnie Walker Blue Label represents the very finest in the art of whisky making. Together, this limited edition design celebrates those who have reached the summit of life. It depicts the majestic visage of Mount Everest in a rich gold ink that looks truly stunning. Johnnie Walker Blue Label Scotch Whisky is pinnacle of art blending. “Our master blender has handpicked just one in 10,000 casks of the rarest whiskies to create a blend of truly rare character, delivering a deep, rich flavour with layers of honey and fruit and an incredibly smooth endless finish,” statement adds. This limited edition bottle design will be available in selected retail outlets at a suggested price of Rs 28,515.
