KATHMANDU: Sunil KC, vice-president of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) has been elected to the board of directors of Singati Hydro Energy Ltd.
The 12th and 13th annual general meetings of the company held on Wednesday elected KC to the BoD from the promoter shareholder group, as per a media release.
KC has been contributing his expertise in the area of economic diplomacy as well as in the area of bilateral and trilateral engagement of Nepal, India and Bangladesh.
At present, KC has been actively engaged and focusing on the development of hydro energy and attracting foreign direct investment in the energy sector as it is the key to narrowing down the trade deficit with India as well as for the overall economic development of Nepal.
