Kathmandu, March 14

Lemon Pvt Ltd has bagged silver award in the prestigious Flame Awards Asia 2016 under integrated marketing campaign for Dabur’s ‘Real School of Nepal’.

“Winning Flame Award in the integrated campaign category competing with the region’s best players is actually a great achievement for all of us. It is kind of an assurance that our team has done a good job and I’d like to congratulate and thank everyone who has made this Real School of Nepal successful,” the media release issued today quotes Abhaya Pd Gorkhalee, head of marketing at Dabur Nepal Pvt Ltd, as saying.

Ujjwal Shakya, managing director of Lemon Pvt Ltd, on receiving the Flame award, said that it has boosted the morale of his team.

“Being the first award to be received by a Nepali agency in the international arena has challenged us to perform much better in the days to come and of course, the client has been very supportive from the beginning in this project and motivated us to widen our reach across the country every year,” he said, according to the release.

Gorkhalee had accompanied Shakya in the award ceremony, which was held on March 11 at Taj Vivanta, New Delhi.

The awarded campaign is an annual national-level school competition, which provides children platform to showcase their talents.

Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) instituted the Flame Awards in 2006 to recognise excellence in marketing, promotion and initiatives across rural markets of India and immediate sub-continent. Flame Awards is the most prestigious award programme that celebrates the best of the best in marketing and communication in presence of the region’s leading marketing and agency professionals.
