LTO seeks EoI for DDA

Kathmandu, July 26

The government has started the process to conduct the due diligence audit (DDA) of Ncell. The Large Taxpayer Office (LTO) under the Inland Revenue Department today published a notice seeking expression of interest (EoI) from interested companies to conduct the DDA of Ncell.

Interested companies need to submit the EoI along with the necessary fees within 15 days of the publication of the notice.

Though the LTO notice only states that DDA needs to be conducted of one of the telecom companies, Narayan Dhakal, chief tax officer of LTO, confirmed that the LTO was preparing to conduct the DDA of Ncell. He informed that the DDA is going to be carried out to find the actual valuation of Ncell.

Repeated calls to Ncell representatives went unanswered.
