Lumbini Bank’s first prize of Rio car goes to Karki
Kathmandu, August 5:
Rama Karki, 1080044-account holder of Durbar Marg branch of Lumbini Bank Ltd, has received
a Rio car worth Rs 15,00,000 at a lottery-opening programme held at the bank today. The bank’s chairman Prakash Shrestha had picked up the winner’s name out of 568 coupons put in by depositors for the yearly bumper prize. Similarly, there are monthly cash prizes for depositors, under the Lumbini Savings schemes, who maintain a minimum balance of Rs 100,000. Under this monthly cash prize, the first prize of Rs 25,000 went to Durga Sunuwar, the second prize worth Rs 15,000 to Sunil Tuladhar and the third prize went to Hari Raj Shakya. The prizes were announced through a computerised draw system at the same function. Chairman of the bank, Prakash Shrestha also opened up the bank’s ATM centre as an additional service to its customers. Within two months from today, depositors will get debit cards free from the bank. Under the scheme, depositors will also get five per cent interest on daily balance by maintaining Rs 100,000. Similarly, there is a 50 per cent discount on charges for locker facility, transfer of funds, remittances and commission on TC, no charges on stop payment, standing instruction execution and reduced interest rate on personal/consumer loan facilities.
